Another advantage of condo living is that you never have to clean out your garage.  You don’t have one.  The corporation hires people to hose down the underground parking area twice a year.  At such a time, you're required to keep your car out of the underground for the duration of the cleaning else you will be slapped with a hefty fine.  This is rather inconveniencing all by itself.  But worse, should parking enforcement find your vehicle parked slightly out of the time your street parking Full Article [...]

Up here in the condo capital of the world, we just had our first snowfall of the season.  As I drove my kid to school, observing the beautiful sight of freshly snow covered trees, I couldn’t help but also notice the freshly snow covered automobiles below them.  Which brings me to yet another advantage for condo dwellers: never again do you have to be delayed in the morning because you have to brush the snow off your vehicle before driving off.  This is provided, of course, that you have a parking Full Article [...]

I don’t believe most men can ever fully relate to the fear and vulnerability women can feel, simply because we are women - whether we are walking alone at night in an unfamiliar place, or even driving lost, by ourselves, in some godforsaken part of town with many stop lights.  This brings me to one of the biggest “pros” of condo living: 24 hour security guards, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  I can call the concierge at any time of the day or night with any security or building issue I Full Article [...]
